Alisa De Luna joined the staff of CASA of Travis County as the Senior Director of Community Initiatives in July 2016. She leads the recruitment, screening and training teams as well as the diversity, community outreach and legislative efforts for the organization. She previously served as the Executive Director of CASA of Williamson County for 5 years and spent over 4 years on the Board of Directors of Texas CASA where she served on the Regional Representative, Program Standards and Services, and Public Policy Committees.
Alisa graduated from Rice University and most of her background is in nonprofit management and fundraising, including work with MDA and the Austin Lyric Opera. Last year, she was awarded the J.C. Montgomery Child Safety Award by the Texas Office for Prevention of Developmental Disabilities for her outstanding commitment to child safety and injury prevention.
