This presentation focuses on generational differences and the changing face of our jury pools. With millennials representing a large portion of our jury panels, attorneys and paralegals will be forced to reconsider their communication strategies during trial. Pre-trial jury research is a powerful tool to assist trial teams in better understanding what facts of their case resonate. The presentation begins with a review of the defining characteristics of each generation, focusing on millennials, discussing the various types of jury research that can be utilized, and discuss strategies for engaging with millennials to make them an advocate in the deliberation room.
