This session will assist those in taking the Certified Paralegal exam (“CP Exam”) review for the Skills (essay) component of the CP Exam.

The session will focus on the following: 

  1. Learning how to identify relevant facts and issues
  2. The application of law to facts
  3. The analysis of issues and formation of conclusions
  4. The organization of information and clarity of expression

A sample essay will be given and discussed during the presentation. Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to distinguish between the key components in legal analysis writing including how to identify relevant facts and issues, how to apply the facts to law, the analysis of issues, and the formation of conclusions.
