Job Summary: 

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing support and assistance an attorney and senior paralegal. This individual will communicate frequently with the clients in order to serve them adequately. This is an entry level paralegal position. 


  • Greet visitors and point them in the right direction, answer inquiries, and create a welcoming environment
  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
  • Manage communication including emails and phone calls
  • Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages
  • Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney and paralegal's calendar, and scheduling appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed
  • Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper, electronic filing systems, and client portals
  • Manage client billing by preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills
  • Accept payments from clients in cash, check or credit card form, including receipts and invoices ¬†
  • Other general legal assistant duties
Requirements or Qualifications: 


  • Degree in Legal Studies/Paralegal certification.
  • Proficient computer skills, including iOS, iWork, and Google Drive
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced ability to prioritize and self-motivate
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Data entry experience
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment
