Pope McGlamry is a medium-sized plaintiff’s firm with 20+ attorneys which has offices in Columbus, Atlanta and Macon.  The Atlanta office, located in Buckhead, is seeking to hire a Paralegal with a strong IT background.  You will support our practice by handling mass tort and personal injury litigation cases in addition to being the point person for IT matters.  To be successful in this role, you will need to be familiar with how a law office functions, be detail oriented and able to multitask effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.  Computer/IT background is a requirement.  Please see the list of requirements and responsibilities below. 


  • Litigation administration and IT experience.
  • Paralegal certificate or training is preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.


  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Providing technical support across the firm.
  • Setting up accounts for new users.
  • Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system along with practice management software.
  • Be a liaison between the firm and the firm’s external IT firm.
  • Filing pleadings with the court clerk.
  • Helping prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed.
  • Preparing legal correspondence, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Investigating facts and laws of cases, searching public records and communicating with clients to prepare cases.
  • Gathering and analyzing statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, documents and other data.
