Job Summary: 

Clark Partington, a full service law firm serving Northwest Florida for more than 40 years, is seeking a Paralegal for our Pensacola Commercial Litigation Department

Work directly with attorneys to manage multiple cases and perform substantive legal work.


  • Maintain and manage multiple files for multiple attorneys
  • Utilize multiple research sources, including eDiscovery technology, to develop information/facts for pending cases
  • Draft and finalize (after review by attorney) pleadings, motions, discovery, discovery responses and correspondence
  • Prepare and coordinate witness and document subpoenas
  • Use Florida E-Filing Portal to electronically file court documents
  • Determine and manage court deadlines
  • Perform legal research
  • Manage document production
Requirements or Qualifications: 


  • Minimum Associates Degree preferably in Paralegal Studies or Legal Studies


  • Two years of paralegal work experience in a law firm environment
  • Experience using eDiscovery technology is a plus


  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen


  • Basic knowledge of Federal and Florida civil court systems, legal concepts and legal documents
  • Experience with electronic filing through CM/ECF or Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional (PDF) and conducting Internet Based public records searches
  • Able to learn and utilize new technology quickly
  • Able to edit documents for spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Able to vary writing style to meet needs
  • Well organized
  • Able to prioritize and anticipate work needs
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to complete assignments under occasional periods of pressure and short deadlines
