Job Summary: 

The law firm of Glasheen, Valles & Inderman handles personal injury cases throughout the United States, principally in Texas and New Mexico. We have offices in Austin, Lubbock, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, Odessa, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Though we have 12 lawyers and roughly 50 employees across five offices, we maintain a small office work environment. We handle catastrophic and complex personal injury cases and maintain a small docket. This enables us to do the best work possible for our clients.

Our Austin office has three full-time attorneys and currently two paralegals working in a beautiful historic office in Judges Hill with gardens in the front and rear. 


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Opening new cases
  • Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, other legal documents
  • Communication with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel
  • Document management and case management software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Trial preparation and witness coordination
  • Prepare materials for attorneys attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
  • Calendaring and managing attorney schedule and appointments
  • Working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Assisting with general office administration, including mail, restocking print/breakroom supplies
  • Filing of documents in state and federal court
  • Document scanning and maintaining of digital client files

Our hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm in our Austin office.

Additional Information: 
Some travel is required. Monthly litigation case meetings occur in our Lubbock office. Typically will require one day of travel. Occasional travel may be needed for certain activities such as client meetings, focus groups, or trial. Travel expenses are paid by the firm.
