Job Summary: 

Irvine Law Firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal, Experienced Candidates Only Please.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, efficient, and reliable with extensive experience in Civil Litigation. Must be able to prioritize tasks, work independently and communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and coworkers.

Candidate should be flexible, level headed, with a 'can-do' attitude in a fast paced and changing environment. To be considered, interested candidates must provide a resume and cover letter, including salary requirements in one PDF via the link.

Responsibilities include:

  • Heavy Drafting legal documents including standard pleadings, declarations, motions, etc.
  • Heavy Drafting discovery, objections, etc.
  • Research projects as directed
  • Medical Records Review & Summary
  • Subpoena research & preparation
  • Deposition Transcript Page & Line Summary
  • Preparing hard copy & electronic filings in accordance with local rules and filing requirements in both State and District Courts
  • Annual Billable Requirement
Requirements or Qualifications: 
  • Working knowledge of standard deadlines and procedures in California Civil litigation.
  • Paralegal Certification from a California ABA approved program
  • Associates Degree, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe. (Will train on document management system Worldox.)
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience..
  • This position is full time at 35/hrs week 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Benefits & 401k.
