Job Summary: 
Duane Morris LLP, an international law firm with more than 800 attorneys, is seeking an Employment Law Paralegal for its San Diego office. This position will support the transactional and litigation employment services provided to clients. Primary responsibilities will include drafting and updating templates for employment applications, agreements, handbooks, policies and employment-related forms, as well as the creation of chronologies and case management binders. This position will also be responsible for providing support in employment litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions and individual employment matters. The paralegal will assist in the preparation of subpoenas, motions, discovery and discovery responses, document productions, deposition outlines and deposition exhibits, as well as maintenance of case files, creating and maintaining databases on Excel, research of court rules, and coordination of library services projects.
Requirements or Qualifications: 
The right candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting employment practitioners. A background in Human Resources is a plus. Prior paralegal experience with wage and hour class actions is important. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects. Proven analytical ability and detail orientation. Skilled in drafting policies, procedures, forms and charts and creating and maintaining reference libraries of forms, templates and samples to assist with efficient drafting of documents. Creative problem-solving skills and strong client-service orientation. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients.
