How It Works

Presentations are implemented through the See My Screen web site. Presenters may use the software applications they deem best for their courses, and students will see exactly what the instructor is presenting. There is no need for students to have the same software as the instructor. This offers a great deal of flexibility for presenters, and great simplicity for students.

A concurrent telephone conference call allows students to hear the presenter while the on-screen presentation unfolds. This toll-free call is arranged as part of the registration process. Students may ask questions through their keyboards or orally. Instructors may answer individual questions by text, or respond by audio to the entire “class.” Instructors also may poll students on various subjects and post the survey results on screen for immediate viewing.

Registrants are sent course materials by e-mail prior to the presentations. These serve as useful notes for the courses, and as a backup in case there is a problem with the Web connection.
