Click this link to review the CLE credits recorded on your account. This information includes the expiration date of your certificate, the total credits awarded, as well as the credits that are classified as non-substantive credits, and ethics. This information is updated every 24-48 hours during the business week.

Limited Practice Rule for Nonlawyers Approved June 15

June 15, 2012 Washington Supreme Court Order #25700-A-1005 Consistent with GR 25 (the Supreme Court rule establishing the Practice of Law Board), the rule establishes a framework for the licensing and regulation of non-attorneys to engage in discrete activities that currently fall within the definition of the "practice of law" (as defined by GR 24) and which are currently subject to exclusive regulation and oversight by this Court. The rule itself authorizes no one to practice. It simply establishes the regulatory framework for the consideration of proposals to allow non-attorneys to practice.

Examination Description

This provides more detailed information about the examination sections and what they cover, research behind the examination, and information about the latest job analysis study. This also provides information about the passing score required, point allocations for each exam section, and major subjects of the exam sections.
Examinees: Application Form, General Polices, Exam Results This provides detailed information about applying for the examination, eligibility requirements, policies relating to examinees and retakes, cheating and discipline, and examination results.
Testing Centers and Policies, Examination Questions This, too, is information specifically for examinees. This describes the procedures for finding locations and confirming appointments for the testing sessions. In addition the testing center rules and policies are listed here. The final section of this booklet provides screen shots of the login and question screens examinees will see on the day of testing.
Recertification Requirements This is the first of two booklets for Certified Paralegals, and includes information for examinees. This booklet describes the recertification requirements followed by all with the Certified Paralegal credential. This includes a description of the types of eligible programs, how to file requests for credit, and notices and appeal for revocation of the Certified Paralegal Credential based on failure to meet the CLE requirements.
Disciplinary Procedures The second of two booklets for Certified Paralegals, this describes the disciplinary procedures to be followed if a complaint is filed against a Certified Paralegal.
