HoganTaylor currently seeks a Para Professional to support our Business Valuation and Litigation Support Service Area. This position will provide day-to-day assistance as directed by the partner and senior manager in various administrative, secretarial and legal duties to include:
Monitor and update BV-Lit Support project tracking related to current project status, project deadlines and project management; including managing project deadlines, deposition and trial dates.
Assess, review, scan and organize client documents into an electronic binder in a logical structure. Ability to retrieve documents as required.
Review and document client financial information and transactions in an excel or QuickBooks environment Prepare BV-Lit Support client reports, other correspondence, engagement letters, proposals, presentations, reports and mailings.
Proof read and math check as needed to provide quality assurance.
Provide technical support and research.
Prepare and distribute client conflict checks.
Communicate with clients and their legal representatives to coordinate meetings, document delivery, etc.
Monitor and manage a Client Relationship Management system in Salesforce to assist in the departmental marketing efforts.
Maintain calendar of appointments, scheduling appointments, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel reservations.
Manage technical resource library.
Prepare detail billing analysis.
Facilitate client set up.
Manage departmental CPE requirements; including registration, scheduling, travel arrangements and tracking of hour requirements.
Assist with front desk receptionist back up, break room cleaning, mail delivery & other administrative tasks as defined and scheduled by the administrative team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required. Three (3) to five (5) years paraprofessional experience preferred; experience with Business Valuation or Litigation Support or in a legal or accounting environment preferred. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft programs to include: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Word, including tables and graphs. Strong organizational and analytical skills are required. Strong attitude of professionalism. Experience in a paperless accounting software preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
SALARY RANGE:
$35,000 - $50,000.00 based on experience.
