Register Today for the LAAU CLA Short Course!!!

This one (1) day course offers class room style instruction on the topics of Human Relations, Interviewing Techniques, Communications, Ethics, Legal Research, Legal Terminology, Judgment & Analytical Ability and General Law.

The LAAU CLA Short Course is a program designed with four (4) objectives in mind.

First, the LAAU CLA Short Course helps those paralegals who would like to take the two (2) day Certified Legal Assistant exam offered through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).

Second, the LAAU CLA Short Course assist other paralegals not interested in taking the two (2) day CLA Exam to gain a better knowledge of various law related topics, techniques and skills. This especially helps those paralegals who have been asked to take on tasks which involves areas of law the paralegal has not received specific training. Information you would be able to take from the classroom and use it immediately.

Third, it is very INEXPENSIVE CLE for those who need to obtain CLE credit.

Fourth, it is a good class to take if only to brush up on your skills.

The LAAU CLA Short Course registration fee is $30 for LAAU Members and $65 for non-LAAU Members. The $65 rate includes an initial LAAU membership.

If you would like to obtain a CLA Review Manual and CLA Study Guide & Mock Exam those items MUST BE purchased directly from NALA at www.nala.org or by calling (918) 587-6828. These books should be ordered as soon as possible to allow for delivery prior to February 25th.

The LAAU CLA Short Course will be held on February 25th at the Law Offices of Siegfried & Jensen, 5684 Green Street, Murray, Utah 84123, (801) 266-0999 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
