NALA Membership Newsletters ... Archive issues now available!
Since fall 2010, we have sent NALA members electronic newsletters of breaking news. The newsletters also appear on NALA's FaceBook page.
The e-newsletter is sent to members' preferred e-mail address, however, many newsletters are blocked by servers because they are considerd spam. It is not a guarantee that all members receive this information. Former issues are available from the link below. Check this often to be sure you are current with NALA news!

In addition to NALA Net, members may also participate in LEAP, the association's Leadership Enhancement and Preparation program. Introduced in 2007, LEAP is a terrific way for affiliated association members and NALA members to learn more about volunteer leadership and organizations.
The NALA Annual Membership Meeting is the one time that members gather to participate in terrific educational programs, as well as association business meetings.
Each year, NALA publishes an Annual Report, summarizing the association's work for the year, and a snapshot of the association's financial standing. The report is distributed to NALA members at the July Annual Meeting and posted on the NALA web site.

NALA Meetings Calendar!
The 2012 meeting and educational program will be announced in the fall of 2011. The educatonal program will again feature an all-institute format. This means that the educational programs will be offered in a classroom-like format with the instruction planned over the entire three or four days. Some instructors will even be making homework assignments.

Call for Declarations of Candidacy for NALA Officers
- To all active members
- Call for candidates for the offices of First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer
- Declaration of candidacy forms due March 15, 2012
- Declaration of candidacy forms will be posted on the NALA web site.

Voting members who cannot attend the 2012 annual meeting of members may designate another voting member to cast their votes by proxy. The form, instructions and a descripton of the procedure to designate a proxy are found in the 2012 election information (see the link below). Designations of proxy forms may be filed via mail, fax, email by using a printed copy of the form. Designations may also be filed by use of an on-line form.
