All active NALA members, new members, charter members, and honorary active members are receiving gift certificates to apply toward any NALA educational program or Facts & Findings
The NALA Board of Directors has decided to resume this benefit that was initiated in 2009 as a way to give back to the paralegal profession and to help NALA members during a very tough economy. The $80 value of the certificates is equal to the member cost for a NALA Campus LIVE! course.
Building a resumé of education increases individual value to employers and helping members in their career advancement efforts is a key goal of NALA. NALA’s spectrum of offerings provides substantive CLE that is convenient and cost efficient. The online courses are particularly economical by saving travel, lodging, and time away from the office.
The gift certificates will be sent to new members and those who have renewed since May 1. Certificates expire annually on the date of membership expiration and new certificates will be issued upon renewal.
Certificates held by active or charter members in good standing are redeemable for the following:
• One NALA Campus LIVE! course or purchase of an MP3 file of a NALA Campus LIVE! course
• Partial payment of an APC course
• Registration for any NALA Campus self-study courses
• Non-member subscriptions to Facts & Findings for colleagues or offices
• Discount off the NALA Annual Meeting/Summer Educational Institutes (beginning 2012)
NALA is vitally interested in helping paralegals work through these troubling times. With this gift of continuing education, plus the annual subscription to Facts& Findings that is included with each membership, the cost of joining and becoming a part of the nation's leading paralegal association is virtually free!
The fine print ... The certificates may be used for more than one of the listed programs, but cannot exceed the $80 value. Educational programs and publications that are not directly produced by NALA are not eligible for the discount, including books published by Cengage Learning. The certificates may not be redeemed for cash, and have no cash value. Certificates must be redeemed by calling or writing NALA Headquarters, and they must be redeemed for events that occur in the member's current year. Any other questions or comments ... contact NALA Headquarters!
