LEAP applications for the 2012-13 class will be accepted through May 15, 2012. Applications will be reviewed and applicants advised of acceptance by June 15, 2012. 

Class size is limited to 12-15 NALA active members. This is necessary to accomplish each of the LEAP objectives. Applications will be reviewed to determine the requirements are met (Active member of NALA, Current Certified Paralegal, and volunteer experience). Once that is determined, applicants will be selected based on other objective criteria such as geographic location and stated interests.  The PDC will endeavor to assure that the make up of the LEAP classes will be representative of NALA members. Classes will be composed of members with a variety of interests, and geographical representation from throughout the United States.

Attendance at the 2013 NALA convention is required for all LEAP participants class of 2013. The 2013 meeting will be held July 10-13, 2013, in Portland, Oregon.
