The
Annual Convention of the National Association of Legal Assistants is the
year’s largest gathering of the nation’s paralegals. The 2008 convention and
exhibition will be in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - a fabulous location in the
heart of Brick Town. This
will be an exceptional opportunity for companies marketing to the legal
profession to promote their products and services to legal assistants.
NALA
is the leading professional association for paralegals, representing more
than 18,000 legal assistants nation wide through individual membership and
more than 90 affiliated paralegal associations. Members are paralegals,
legal administrators, educators, and others concerned with the paralegal
career field. More than 300 attendees are expected at this convention and
exhibition, all eager to learn about new products, services, and technology.
They often are authorized to buy or recommend purchases of products and
services. The
convention is noted for its tone of professionalism, and its size
allows time for exhibitors and attendees to learn about each other. The
exhibits are consistently given high marks in attendee surveys, and a number
of exhibitors repeatedly make this event part of their marketing and
promotion plans.
Technology Showcase
New to the exhibitor program this year is the Technology Showcase.
This is offered to technology and software vendors to provide an opportunity
to demonstrate products and techniques. The showcase will be held on
Thursday, July 31. NALA will provide 6 meeting rooms vendors may use
for product demos. Registrants will be provided lunch; one hour and 30
minutes is allocated for the technology showcase.
Those participating on the gold sponsor level will have exclusive use of a
meeting room for the entire time period. Those participating on the track
sponsor level will have about 40 minutes of presentation time. For the track
sponsor level, two vendors will be assigned to one meeting room.
The benefits of this opportunity are tremendous for the marketing of your
product. Attendees will be there with a specific interest in your product and
its use and you will have a chance to demonstrate the strengths of your product
in a teaching atmosphere.
The Technology Showcase is part of the total convention package for
registrants. Technology showcase vendors are asked to sign up early for this
session. This allows us ample time to publish a schedule of the technology
luncheon sessions and time for registrants to plan their educational schedule.
Registration for the Technology session is limited to 2 gold level sponsors and
4 track level sponsors.
Who Should Participate
Everyone who provides products or services to the legal profession, or
legal products and services to business, is encouraged to take advantage
of these opportunities.
In addition to onsite convention presentation of their products and
services, sponsors and exhibitors reap the benefits of extended marketing
exposure in NALA’s publications and convention publicity.
