NALA has announced the Fall 2008 CLA/CP Short Course for those preparing for the CLA/CP examination or those interested in brushing up on their professional skills and knowledge.  Offered by NALA for several years, the CLA/CP Short Course has become one of the most popular educational events of NALA.

This course serves as a great refresher for experienced paralegals.  Those who already have the CLA/CP credential may take this course to satisfy their continuing legal education requirements for maintaining the CLA/CP designation. Also, those involved in teaching review courses for their schools and local paralegal associations may find this program helpful.

If you are taking the Certified Paralegal examination in December 2008 or preparing for the Spring 2009 examination, this course will help in your study program.

The CLA/CP Short Course is part of the continuing legal education efforts of NALA and is offered separate and apart from the CLA/CP examination program.  Successful completion of the CLA/CP examination is contingent upon many factors and participation in this course does not guarantee a passing score.

The schedule of events is shown below.  Seminar sessions consist of a general overview of the subject matter and knowledge and skills necessary for successful legal assistants. For more information about the CLA/CP examination and requirements, click here
